Safari Blue
Your Blue Safari begins with a boat ride from the south coast of Zanzibar, with departures often arranged from popular spots like Kiwengwa. As you set off into the crystal-clear Indian Ocean, the breeze, the sun, and the endless blue instantly set the mood for an unforgettable day on the water.
One of the highlights is relaxing on a pristine white sandbank in the middle of the ocean. It’s a perfect spot for sunbathing, swimming, and taking stunning photos surrounded by nothing but sea.
You’ll cruise on a traditional wooden dhow boat, handcrafted by local fishermen. With its curved sail and wooden frame, the dhow offers a peaceful, slow-paced ride while you take in views of the coastline and distant islands.
The day ends with snorkeling near a coral reef teeming with colorful fish, starfish, and sometimes even dolphins. After exploring underwater, you’ll have time to float, swim, or just relax in the shallow lagoon before heading back.
